These are busy times...

Not a lot of updates lately, but by no means I’m sitting still. The last few weeks lot of stuff has happened, and even more is to come. First of all, my second article has reached the PHP|Architect magazine. This time about the deflate-algorithm. Not an article that comes in handy in your daily work probably, but definately worth reading to find out how things work from the inside.. It’s kind of a how-stuff-works for computer-geeks.
Also some other nice things have happened. October will be a very busy month where I will speak in Poland at Linux Autumn, at ZendCon (yay!) and of course with some nice colleague-developers and friends at PFCongres in september. My talks will range from some pro-tips for MySQL users to public key authentication to a tutorial on Puppet. I just love being an allrounder :)
Another thing I will absolutely try to make time for, is finishing up some blogposts that keep on idling in draft-status for weeks or months now. Sometimes you just need to hit the “publish” button but somehow I couldn’t come up with the correct wording to express my thoughs. Call it a bloggers block if you will! Hopefully, between rearranging slides for conferences, doing some major projects, studing on some exams, tinkering with inner workings of some programs, doing some bugfixing for joind.in, spending time with my girlfriend and watching the last harry potter movie, I will come up with new blog topics to write about. Maybe about the possibilities and impossibilities of scrum. Maybe some back-to-basic blogs about DNS, some blogs about Puppet, vagrant, veewee, cucumber and more stuff that every sysadmin and developer should learn and love, and maybe even some math stuff..
Anyway, we are still alive and kicking!
